Songs of the Month:
We love local, it’s not a secret. And one of our favorite local businesses here in Baltimore is 89.7 WTMD - our local radio station. They have introduced us to some amazing bands and songs - background work music, dance in the car music, sit on the beach music, and more! Check out their WTMD Top 89 Songs of 2018 for some inspiration!

Poem of the Month:
We found this poem through a recent read from Jen Sincero (one of our favorites!) and had to share! It’s a great reminder to check in with our fears, doubts and really review where our stories are misplaced. As entrepreneurs, as small businesses, even as women…we often tell ourselves these stories of self-doubt when we’re fearful of standing out. This poem was a delightful reminder that it helps no one to dull our shine - KEEP SHINING, FRIENDS!

Our Deepest Fear By Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of [the Universe].
You’re playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of [the Universe] that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Stay tuned to the Good Vibes blog & social accounts as we continue our Roundup series! We’re all struggling to keep up with all the amazing reading out there - we’ll be here to keep you caught up on our favorite articles!
